About us
We are Kate en Ivan. When we first set foot on Ibiza in 2002, it was love at first sight. Our children were still young, but just like us, the Ibiza vibe just caught them by surprise and nested forever.
We went back, year after year, in high summer, in October, in May to discover more of the island we loved so much. A few years we skipped a trip to our second home, to visit Thailand, Java, Bali, New York or Sicily but we kept on coming back…
Ibiza for us is freedom, delicious food, idyllic hidden beaches (or Cala’s like they call them), the still alive & kicking 60- ties hippy culture, the wild parties, the extravagant clubproppers on the beach, the crystal clear emerald blue water, the overwhelming nature….
The dream to have a “pied-a-terre of our own” on Ibiza one day, dates already from years ago. Today it finaly happend.
Our own place, Casa Pulpo, to be able to come when we need it. When we miss the freedom, the scent of the pine trees or the salt on our skin. Or just when we like some simple gamba’s à la plancha on Sa Trinxa.
Casa Pulpo is not only for us. We like to share our flat in Ibiza with people who love the island as much as we do. Kindred spirits, sun seekers, foodies and bohemians.
